Digital cooperation grants // expired

Sector: Culture and creative industries
Type: Grant
Location: Internet
Deadline: Finished
Organiser: House of Europe

We aim to support cultural dialogue between Ukraine and the EU even despite the COVID-19 pandemic and closed borders. Therefore we created digital cooperation grants — grants, funding collaborative cultural projects of Ukrainian and European organisations created for the digital space.

Grants encourage experiments, creativity, and innovations. Digital and social media arts, cloud-working, digital learning, institutional digitalisation, online exhibitions, concerts, conferences, and more are only a few of the ideas we can fund.

Digital cooperation grants aim to strengthen ties between creative and IT industries in Ukraine, the EU, and the UK, and encourage the invention of new forms of professional exchange and creativity.

Good to know
  • Two organisations submit a collaborative application. Either the Ukrainian or the EU organisation can be an applying partner. The applying partner assumes most responsibility for the realisation of the project.
  • We accept applications from more than two organisations if among the partners are at least one organisation from the EU and one organisation from Ukraine.
  • Organisations from Eastern Partnership countries can be additional partners. The Eastern Partnership countries are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova.
  • The applying partner must be a non-profit organisation. As an exception, only in the call for digital cooperation grants, the partnering organisation can be for-profit.
  • At least one of the partnering organisations must have a proven track of the implementation of cultural projects.
  • Experience in digital will be a plus but is not required, as we encourage experiments.
  • You must develop a new digital product. We cannot fund projects that had already been realised.
  • You may apply for other House of Europe opportunities.
